Covid-19 Testing
Seniors do not forget that Monday, from 10:00-2:00, you can pick up Graduation parade numbers, cords, stoles, report cards, locker contents, pay fines, and return any school property that you have.

Have you filled out your census yet?
Sr. Athlete and OAP/Literary recognition night will be on Tues. May 19 at 6:00 pm. It will be held in the student parking lot. Everyone must stay in their cars; more information to come. If your senior has not turned in their information by 5/14 their plaque will not be ready.
Senior athletes and Literary and One Act Play participants, please fill out the attached form and return it to the school or email it to gtheiss@schleyk12.org by May 14. There will be forms in a box at the front of the school if you do not have the ability to print or email.
Distance learning will continue through May 20 for students. No new lessons will be posted after May 8. Please use the time after May 8 to get all assignments turned in/submitted.

Yearbook Update... We have received word from Herff-Jones that we should expect the yearbook to be shipped to the school mid-June. When we get an exact date, we will set the dates and times for pickup at the middle/high school. Pickup dates look to be around the 4th week of June.
Yearbook Status...
Herff-Jones, the company that produces our yearbook, will be re-starting their production plant around May 1st. We are hoping to have the yearbooks by the end of May. We will update everyone on the status when we hear. Once we get a delivery date, we will post pick-up times at the middle/high school. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Students with district laptops can receive tech support on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the front of the middle/high school.
We have some devices that were returned for repairs that are now ready for pickup.

Just a reminder that WBL, teacher apprentice, and information technology applications can be picked up in front of the school. Applications are due May 1. There is a drop box at the front entrance.
Seniors...if you did not get you cap and gown today, you may pick it up out front of the school, Thursday, April 23, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
GSW has been waiving undergraduate admission application fees since the last week of March. The application fee waiver through GaFutures will end this Sunday, 4/19/20. Students using an ACT,SAT, or NACAC fee waiver can submit their fee waiver with the online application on our website.
Schley County High School would like to congratulate 11th Grader Jayson Lin on qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship Program. His score on the PSAT was one of the Top 50,000 in the nation. Over 1.5 million students took the PSAT. This fall the number will be cut to the Top 16,000 who will be named National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalists. We wish Jayson good luck and we are proud of you!
