The varsity softball game this afternoon has been cancelled due to weather.

Virtual Students, We have suspended the Infinite Campus Check-in feature for the attendance of virtual students. Attendance at the middle/high school for virtual students will instead be determined by work completed on Edgenuity each day.

Students who wish to join FCCLA for the 2020-2021 school year should complete the member form and email it to Mrs. Jennifer Driver at jdriver@schleyk12.org. Dues are $13.00 and can be dropped off in the front office at the High School M-F 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Please have the exact amount at time of payment. New Middle/High School Edgenuity Students: We have set up your Edgenuity classes. You may login after 8:00 AM, Friday, August 21st. You should have a full course load; however, you may have electives assigned to you that you did not choose. Edgenuity has a limited number of electives; if you do not like the one assigned to you, you may contact Mrs. Hagerson (chagerson@schleyk12.org) and request a change, no later than Monday, August 24th, at 4:00 p.m. To login, please visit https://auth.edgenuity.com/Login/Login/Student/ Your username is the same as your Infinite Campus username or the first part of your email before the "@student.schleyk12.org". Virtual Middle/High School Students, Thank you for your patience as we are working out the calendar issue with Edgenuity. We almost have this finished. The weekend due dates will no longer appear but instead will be during the 5 Day Workweek (Mon-Fri). Your current grade will still show for all coursework you have completed. The overall grade may be lower but that is fine at this time. Once you finish all the coursework, the current grade will match the overall grade. You should not be locked out of assignments if you are behind on the due dates. If so, please contact the staff member designated for your grade level. Thank you!

GSW DE Students...I have just received notification that your textbooks for your GSW DE class this semester are ready for pickup. Please pick your books up at the Student Accounts window in the Marshall Student Center on the GSW campus. (The Marshall Student Center is the building that Starbucks, the Cafeteria and the book store is located in.) The pickup window is open daily from 8:30-4:30 pm. If you have any questions about your books please email David Jenkins at david.jenkins@gsw.edu or give Mrs. Hagerson a call at the HS.

Virtual Students, Edgenuity has an update on the calendar that caused some issues with due dates. We are in the process of changing it back. Please only worry about logging in at minimum during the school week which is Monday through Friday. Do not pay any attention to weekend due dates. Thank you!

Virtual Students have to login each day, Monday through Friday, to be counted present for school attendance.

All Virtual Students in Grades 6-8: make sure to check your school email and look for an email from Coach Burgess with an invitation to Remind for you and your parent/guardian. He and Mrs. Roquemore will be using Remind to send important announcements regarding Edgenuity.

School Access Points - Update There is an available access point located in the parking lot between our two schools. Select the Wi-Fi that displays as Schley_Outdoor with password Hopeful2020. Wi-Fi is available from 7:00am to 8:00pm. Remember to be responsible and practice social distancing at all locations.

School Access Points At this time there are access points located at Union Hill Church, Ebenezer Baptist, American Legion, Pecan Village and the School Board Office. These access points provide filtered internet access for student school work. The Wi-Fi connections display as SchoolBusInternetXXXX where XXXX is the unique identifier for the access point. The password for each access point is accessXXXX, where XXXX is the same last 4 digits as you see in the Wi-Fi connection. There are limited data restrictions on each access point for each month. It is imperative to conduct only school related tasks while using school access points. We truly appreciate the community partners that have allowed us to locate the Wi-Fi Rangers on their property. Remember to be responsible and practice social distancing at these locations. We will keep you updated when more sites are added.

South GA Technical College Classes begin Monday, August 17, 2020. Please stop by the high school front office to pickup your orientation packet information. Included in this packet is your SGTC email login information, Blackboard and BannerWeb login information. We are open from 7:30-3:30 for pickup. Please come to the front door of the high school and ring the door bell. Also, make sure you wear a mask when entering the building. There have been some questions concerning who is a Virtual Student and who is a Distance Learning Student. Virtual Students are enrolled in the Edgenuity program and receive their learning through the program. Their attendance is taken when they log into Edgenuity. Distance Learning Students are enrolled in In-Person instruction. Due to the 14 Day shutdown, all In-Person Students are Distance Learning Students. Their attendance is taken by their teachers. We hope this clears everything up. Thank you!
