Class of 2021: Your Class Ring Ceremony is right around the corner. Jostens will be here to accept class ring payments on Tuesday, August 20, during lunch in the cafeteria. Please being cash or money orders only. No checks will be accepted at this time. You may pay online or call the Jostens office to make payments.
Seniors: Order your ultimate symbols of success! Jostens will be here to take Announcement and Cap & Gown orders on Tuesday, August 20, during lunch in the cafeteria. Please bring a $100 deposit and a completed order form to place your order.

Friday night parking. The road behind the fieldhouse will be closed to ALL traffic. Home fans park in the Baseball/Softball lot or lot between the buildings and overflow into the Student Parking lot. Booster parking will be between the special needs parking and home parking.
The Junior Ring Ceremony has been moved to Wednesday, September 11, at 6:00 PM due to a scheduling conflict.
This Friday will be a "Black Out" for our football game. We are also honoring our local first responders. All local first responders get in FREE as a Thank You for all you do for the community!
Attention Seniors: Mark you calendars for our Annual Senior Information Night, being held on Thursday, August 29, at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Attention Seniors: please stop by the office before school, after school, or during lunch to verify the correct spelling of your name for correct printing on your diploma. Please make sure you do this before Friday, August 30. The verification sheet is located outside Mrs. Hagerson's door. If your name is spelled correctly, please sign by your name and if corrections are needed please make the appropriate corrections on the sheet provided.
Any junior or senior student interested in taking the ASVAB test on September 4, at 8 a.m., please stop by the front office and sign up. The deadline for signing up is August 30. The ASVAB test opportunity is for all students whether they are planning on immediate employment after high school in civilian or military occupations, or further education at a university, community college, or vocational institution.
Students taking classes at GSW, please stop by the high school front office to pick up your book. Classes begin on Monday, August 19, 2019.
Students taking classes at SGTC during the Fall Semester and did not attend orientation, please stop by the front office to pick up your class schedule and packet.
Coach Rooks is accepting applications for election to the SCHS Student Council. Applications can be picked up in Coach Rooks' room and are due back to him by Tuesday, August 20. Please specify which office you are seeking.
Don't forget to sign up to become a member of FBLA. Permission forms are outside Mrs. Cheek's door and dues are $20 which includes a club tshirt. Our first meeting will be Aug. 22 during club schedule. You must have paid your dues by then to attend.
Current parking passes must be displayed in your vehicle by this Friday, August 9. If you have not purchased your 2019-20 parking pass, do so before Friday.
Any student interested in being a member of Partnerships for Success, you can pick up an application form from Mrs. Conner. Applications are due by August 22.
Attention class of 2020, your senior packets and photos for yearbook are due on August 14. If you lost your packet, come by the front office or Ms. Henderson's room to receive a new one. All information should be turned into Ms. Henderson.
If you are interested in signing up to be on prom committee, please pick up a form outside of Mrs. Hart's door and return it by Wednesday, August 14. You must be a junior to be on prom committee.
