The Schley County School System has partnered with the Schley County Health Department in offering flu shots to students. A consent form will be sent home with students and needs to be filled out and returned to school by September 23, 2019. The forms can be given to either homeroom teachers or office staff. The shots will be offered on October 11, 2019 after early release in the elementary school lunchroom from 1 to 4 pm. In order for students to receive the shot, a parent must be present. On the consent form, insurance information is asked for but a student can receive the shot even if they do not have insurance coverage.
All students who are eligible to purchase a letter jacket need to see Coach Theiss by Thursday September 19 to be sized. A $50 deposit will be due by September 23 to place your order. Eligibility is based on having completed 2 consecutive varsity seasons in the same activity.
If you believe you have qualified for a letter jacket and would like to order one, see Coach Theiss next week by Friday 9/20 to get sized and determine eligibility.
No student is allowed inside the gym before 7:55 a.m. except to put a bag in their coach's office. At 7:55, students who have first period in the gym may enter. NO STUDENT IS ALLOWED IN THE GYM PRIOR TO 7:55 a.m.
Picture retake day is September 26. If you did not take a photo on the original picture day, you must make sure that you get your photo taken this day in order to guarantee your photo in the yearbook.

The band boosters will be having a fundraiser at Zaxby's in Americus on Tuesday, 9-17 from 5:00-7:00 PM. 10% of all sales, eat-in or take-out, will be donated to the band.

Please pay any remaining balances by calling the Jostens office with a debit or credit card by noon Tuesday, September 10th. You may also pay with cash or money order in the exact amount prior to the ring ceremony on Wednesday, September 11th at 5:15 p.m. at school to the Jostens representative. Again, the Ring Ceremony is Wednesday, September 11th.
