Schley County High School has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as an Advanced Placement Honor School in the categories of Challenge and Expansion. Recipients of the Challenge category are schools that have less than 900 students and offer a variety of AP courses. Recipients of the Expansion category are schools that have shown a 25% or more growth in AP enrollment.

Class of 2025/ 2026 Students and Parents:
The 2024-2025 Junior -Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Harrison
Woods in Ellaville, Georgia. Juniors and seniors planning to attend Prom 2025 are required to pay dues in the amount of $65. All juniors and seniors are required to pay to attend prom, even if he or she is the date of another junior or senior at SCHS. Prom dues are to be paid in full by March 7, 2025.
