Extra, Extra! Read all about it! Our very own 6th grader, Ellie Williams, placed second for the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition. Ellie went head to head with other students from local schools within our RESA. She wrote a beautiful story titled, The Bomb and has represented Schley County very well. The purpose of the Young Georgia Authors (YGA) writing competition is to encourage students to develop enthusiasm for and expertise in their writing, to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes, and to recognize student achievement in arts and academics. We are so proud of you, Ellie!!
