Thank you to the families that came to our Title I Information and Book Fair on Tuesday. We love when our students read and it was fun having book characters read to the students.

Schley County Elementary will be hosting their Title I Annual Meeting and Family Night at their Book Fair on September 10 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The Book Fair will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m. that night.

Free & Reduced carryover date is September 16, 2024. Students will eat on SY 23-24 status until September 16, 2024, or until a new Free & Reduced application has been processed for SY 24-25.

September 18-22 is Homecoming Spirit Week!

The PTA Candygram fundraiser is going on now and order forms are due this THURSDAY! The candygrams will be delivered on 2/14. Thanks for your support!

Our kindergarteners have been working hard to learn sight words this year. Our 'Rainbow Readers' have read at least half of our kindergarten words toward our end of the year goal of 100 sight words read. They earned their name being added to the rainbow, a certificate, and extra recess. Way to go readers!

Mrs. Law's Third Grade class have met their reading and math goals for the second nine weeks of school! They are looking forward to the reward days!

Students in Mrs. Law's Third Grade class have been learning about minerals and rocks. They presented their rock collections and enjoyed observing each other collections and discussing the similarities and differences!
