Schley County Schools will be closed for students Friday January 24th. Faculty will report at 10:30. Melting on roadways has not occurred as we had hoped, which poses concern for early bus travel. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to a regular week beginning Monday!

After checking local road conditions and consulting with county officials, Schley County Schools will remain closed for Thursday, January 23rd. The expected overnight refreezing we feel may result in unsafe conditions for Thursday morning travel. We hope everyone remains safe and warm. Students are reminded to continue with the given or posted snow day assignments from Tuesday.

Due to the expected weather conditions, Schley County Schools will have an early release day tomorrow January 21st. Students will be dismissed at 12:00. Also, Wednesday January 22nd will be an asynchronous learning day. Neither students nor faculty will report on Wednesday. We hope everyone is safe and warm throughout this winter weather.

Due to the wintry mix of weather predicted for Friday morning, January 10th, Schley County Schools will be closed. All Friday events have been cancelled. We hope everyone stays safe and warm during this winter weather.

SCHEDULED SAFETY DRILL Tomorrow morning, Wednesday, January 8, 2024, the Schley County School District will be conducting a pre-planned Lockdown Drill. We conduct this drill to practice and prepare our staff, students and local emergency responders to appropriately respond in the event of an armed intruder on our campus. This drill will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. If you attempt to visit the school during the drill you will not be able to enter until the drill is completed. We appreciate your support and assistance in providing for the safety and security of our students and staff.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the faculty and staff of Schley County Schools!! Special thanks to Royal Photography for the picture.

Thank you Sheriff Tondee!

Happy Veteran's Day from SCE!
