On Thursday, students at Schley County Elementary were invited to attend the Title I STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) Night event. At the event, Title I coordinator Jim Langley informed parents of the purpose of the Title I program, introduced the Title I teachers (Susanne Roquemore and Emma Warren), and explained how SCE utilizes the program to assist students. Afterwards, students participated in different STEM activities such as making their own slime and engineering boats from provided materials. Participants even got the chance to interact with the school's robots led by technology teacher, Karen Jones, and several SCE 5th grade student volunteers.
