Mrs. Hollomon’s fourth grade class wrote and published “Color Poems”. The students discussed sensory details to be used throughout their poems. Once their writing was completed, the students were able to use their 1:1 device to type the poem. They were instructed to go to their Edmodo account to find the instructions for publishing their writing. For a final touch, the students glued magazine cutouts to the border of their poem to display the color they focused on. Mrs. Hollomon’s students loved this task that included several steps to get to the finished product. They were very proud of their published poem.
