Recently Mrs. Anthony's kindergarten class began their unit on measurement. Students enjoyed measuring objects around their classroom using linking cubes as non standard units. The class then took their measuring skills outside on Groundhog's Day to trace and measure a buddy's shadow. The students then recorded, compared, and discussed their findings.
