Students in Mrs. Waller’s 3rd grade class have been beginning to learn multiplication. During the month of October, each week has been dedicated to learning a new multiplication strategy (repeated addition, equal groups, number line, and arrays). During groups this past week, students were able to use pumpkin seeds as manipulatives while making equal groups. The Pumpkin Seed Multiplication Activity was a hit as all were eager to stump their partner.
