Did you know Frank Epperson created the first popsicle in 1905? Students didn't either. After reading The True Story of Popsicles to learn more information on the invention, SCE 1st grade students began learning about heating and cooling in crosscurricular investigations. With inspiration from Generation Genius, students were eager to try melting crayons while learning about reversible and non-reversible changes.
